Rosalie Hrybyk, P.E., embarks on a new journey by returning to her alma mater as the Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Fire Protection Engineering.
College Park, MD — Performance Based Fire is proud to announce Rosalie Hrybyk, P.E., is joining the University of Maryland Department of Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) as the new Assistant Clinical Professor.
Hrybyk earned her FPE bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maryland in 2013 and 2015, respectively. She has been an Adjunct Lecturer for the university since 2020 and is now taking the next step in her teaching career by joining the staff full-time.
“We are extremely grateful for Rosalie’s time at Performance Based Fire and wish her the very best in her teaching endeavors,” said David Stacy, Principal and Founder of Performance Based Fire. “Since joining the team in 2022, Rosalie has helped our team become a leader in the fire protection engineering industry through her expertise in building code compliance and smoke control modeling for high-rise stair pressurization design. We can’t wait to see her continued success in the field as an Assistant Clinical Professor.”
