The NSPE-KY Committee appoints the latest class of engineers for its leadership development program.

Louisville, KY — The Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE-KY) has chosen Austin Grant, P.E., of Performance Based Fire to join its 2023-24 Leadership PE class.

The eight-month leadership development program helps to develop the professional and life skills of entry- to upper-level engineers. This includes career training sessions, networking opportunities with fellow engineers and community leaders, and one-on-one meetings with business decision-makers. Only about 15 participants are selected for this distinguished program each year.

“Austin’s experience as a volunteer firefighter adds a unique perspective, highlighting his selflessness and understanding of emergency response and safety protocols,” said the NSPE-KY.

“It’s an absolute honor to be part of the upcoming Leadership PE class,” said Grant. “I look forward to learning from industry leaders and honing my skills so I can make a greater impact in the community.”
